I read it twice and edited it three times. It seemed a bit harsh...though I liked the phrase. It occurred to me that my irrational love of a specific fraction might be perceived as racist, rather than smug glee at the hypocrisy of our founding fathers.

A shiny nickel to anyone who can guess the exact phrase.

Although technically, that should be more like a slave's census headcount of a nickel. They coudn't vote, dude.
