I don't know who this marketing committee is that people talk about. One does not exist. Wes was marketing director and has since stepped down from the job. For those that this is news to, I apologize. I was trying to see about getting the position filled by someone else so before the announcement was made. In the end, I started taking on the tasks as part of my job and delegating where possible (Vines is working on the vinyl banner, Sara did a great job on the poster, Chris Trew hooked us up with the Onion deal). There is no marketing committee.
What I propose it to put together a couple of ads to post online by Sunday (specificially Everything is Nothing and Improv is Now). I had asked Roy to design a Double Barrel specific ad but we will have to see if that possible for him by Sunday. If anyone else has an idea they feel strongly about, feel free to post it online as well. I will set up a poll on Sunday with all the choices.
Then we move forward.
And the reason that I am coming to you on this forum is because I was not elected as Marketing Director so I do not want to overstep my bounds on certain decisions.
Ad for the Onion
Anything about the AIC itself.

I also vote to give Asaf carte blanche.

As an outsider who lurks on this board occasionally, why not practice the "YES AND" model by letting Asaf run with his plenty good ideas. On the stage I would never see you "block" plenty good ideas ... so why do it here?
And if Asaf wants to put Ketchup on the ad ... so be it. It will be tastier that way.
