Ratliff is right. Another option is to write a concise email letter to the editor urging constituents to contact their reps about this issue and send it to as many major papers as you have time for. Many newspapers love out-of-town ltte's as it makes them look more widely read.ratliff wrote: it does seem as though most of the reps only take email from within their own districts.
