Damn you JLamb.

although I must admit "a dick plus a universe" is very funny, and would make a fantastic "vision statement" for any arts community.

I wanted to add one thing to my list, and that is...

"almost any of the musicians/bands that Erika May listed, damn she's got good taste!"

Paris in the spring
dancing
random pop songs in my car that inspire sketches
old R.E.M.
old Bowie
Tom Waits
Flaming Lips
flat bowls
waking up refreshed
coffee buzzes
walking out after a great movie
dreams
The Graduate
fall's nostalgic heart fluttering at the first cool breezes and gray skies
spring's nostalgic heart fluttering at the first golden green leaves washing the city with the most beautiful light
you
surprising friends with random acts of silliness
clown fart glasses
putting cold food on my face
ACL, even when it's dusty and hot
"Electric Avenue"
the buzz after two drinks
sleeping over at friends'
holding someone you love so close that you don't know where you end and she begins
staring up at the stars and wondering...

I know I'm missing a ton of stuff. And I love that too.
Sometimes it's a form of love just to talk to somebody that you have nothing in common with and still be fascinated by their presence.

The smell when cigarette smoke mixes with the exhaust from a car with way too much carb running so rich it's basically spitting gas out of the tail pipe. Mm mm mm. Kicks me right back to the summer of '99.
They call me Dollar Bill 'cause I always make sense.

I love
