I didn't even realize I'd typed 'again', honestly, until you just brought it up. My apologies. It was a typo. I don't begrudge anyone for quitting a position they no longer want.
My feelings are that my time is precious and meetings shouldn't be summaries and status reports, but proposals and votes on new business and directions.
I disagree. I think there's been a lot going on that not everyone knows about. If your time is precious, sit this one out and send a report on anything you need/want covered. If enough people want to meet, let's meet.

If we want honest-to-goodness proposals to make this meeting worthwhile, I can come up with some. I've got loads of things I want to do, but I haven't brought them up for fear of making everyone's life more complicated.

I'm dissilusioned with achieving understanding online. I've read and re-read Asaf's original proposals and the subsequent meeting minutes, and I still don't understand what's really been decided, the membership point system, or the timetable involved.

GGG with the good faith of the Hideout/AIC. (meaning we are putting our own money into producing the festival for marketing/party/etc but are using the hideout's space and the AIC friday night volunteers.)

Sorry for all the confusion, folks. And I will try to address it when I get back from Chicago. There have been a lot of changes and occurances lately, some progressive, some that are setbacks.

I felt that lately there was too much of a bailing ship view that was being painted of the AIC and I wanted there to be some progress first coupled with Wes' announcement of stepping down.

I am still figuring out a lot in this position and am being ongoingly redirected based on these things that come up. The calls don't all have equal amounts of finesse as a result.
