Buffy Singalong tonight?

Post by Matt »

I'm going to the Buffy Singalong at the Drafthouse downtown tonight (9:45) - any other closet buffy fans out there want to come, give me a call 512-forsixsix-ate8ate3 or just show up. :) Never seen this one, but I've been to some of the other Singalongs at the Drafthouse, and they've always been big fun.

No shame in being a Buffy fan. It was a great show. So was Angel and Firefly. I've been to two Buffy sing-a-longs in the last year. Both were a blast. I want to go to the Reefer Madness: The Musical sing-a-long at some point.

Have fun?

is there a way the Buffy-aoke can come to other areas? saw something on it the other week and I'd love to host an event here in Mississippi. I SO wish i could make a road trip to do this!!

I went to this last night and it was indeed awesome. Even though my date STOOD ME UP!!! I still had a great time. Highly recommended.

Just to be a total dork, the Buffy comic by Joss Whedon is now coming out. It starts where the last season ended. I've got the first and second issue and I'm waiting for the third.

Alamo Drafthouse put on a special Buffy show created to coincide with the anniversary of the first airing of the first episode of Buffy and the release of the Buffy comic. It started at midnight and they showed one episode from each season. Austin Comics had scheduled to give out the first issue of the new Buffy comic to each attendee, along with other Buffy merchandise; however, the comic was behind schedule and didn't come out until one or two weeks after the event. The owner of Austin Comics was not pleased about that at all. Too bad because that might have brought a lot of people into the comic book store too.
