I'd like to join up, if possible, in making a sequel.

The sequel to Manos: Hands of Fate.

Manos, Hands of Fate 2: El Diablo of the Devil!

I would like to brainstorm with some folks. Also, I can help design the poster that is required for the submission.

I don't know exactly how much time I'll have, but I am a very good idea person and I have experience shooting short films. Since this is a trailer, it would probably be smart to have a lot of locations that are easy locations. Minimal number of actors.

The Graduate comes to mind, but that was pitched by Buck Henry in The Player.

I wish we could shoot at my news staion b/c then we could do Network II.

Oh! A good place to be reminded of the great movies that should never be found is on the list of top-rated films for every decade on imdb.com.

I'd like to help with this. I can do all of the special FX makeup if it's called for. I've been itching to try out this new fake blood recipe anyway.

My brain is too full right now to make room for new ideas, but I'll be there for shooting, if something sweet comes up.

Ooo! How about Capricorn One 2 - starring Val, of course, as she tries to uncover the truth behind a faked mission to Pluto!

Do prequels count? "Look Who's Not Talking Yet" comes to mind. All scenes to take place in utero.

Kazaam 2: Not Even A Genie Can Help Shaq's Free Throws
From Justin to Kelly 2: Justin Gets a Job
How the Grinch Settled for Stealing President's Day
Con Air 2: Con Blimp

Along the lines of Titanic 2:

Saving Private Ryan 2
The Sixth Sense 2
All Quiet on the Western Front 2
Marie Antoinette 2

Plus, you could always make a sequel of a sequel, and instead of calling it the third movie, refer to it as something like "Spider-Man 2 II"

I just emailed Kinky Friedman to ask if he wants to do a cameo as the Governor of Texas in "The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas 2"
