SVT opening on June 1---now delayed until June 7th

Post by shando »

I've been talking about this for a year now, but it's on for reals. We open June 1st. Mark your calendars for an awesome party. You can see the first couple days of construction over at the SVT blog. It's already a lot more built out walls should be up soon.

I should also say, if you've got ideas for late night show runs, drop me a line. Or even one-off events. Saturdays in June at 10:30 will be comedy duos featuring Get Up and another guest duo troupe. Beyond that, we've got some room.

Damn, I'll be out of town for the grand opening. Tear some shit up (figuratively) for me!

Improv, sketch? Anything in particular?
Sometimes it's a form of love just to talk to somebody that you have nothing in common with and still be fascinated by their presence.

The sky's the limit. I will say as a company devoted to producing new and generally experimental plays, SVT would be most interested in seeing fresh ideas that might appeal to a theater crowd.

Bump, but peep the new date. We had to delay the grand opening by 6 days for construction purposes. Evite is still operable, and open to all.
