technology zen

Post by Lindsey »

I cannot figure out how to do the quote thing. I have decided not to expend any more time and energy on the subject. I accept my technological shortcomings and am able to move on, renewed. Light.

you simply click the quote button in the top right on the message you wish to quote. that is all.

I don't think my computer is right... I think I've even done that before. But love and light,ya know?

yeah...hmm..that is a bit weird. maybe something in your profile settings, like allow HTML or something like that. not like your missing much without it. :)

It's simple. Put [ quote ] in front of the message you want to quote and [ / quote ] after the message you want to quote, but don't have the spaces there. I only put those there to make the example visible. You may be deleting the [ / quote ] when you hit the quote button. Same with the rest of the tags.

Make sure that the checkbox marked "Disable BBCode in this post" is not checked. If it is, you can't quote.

You can fix this problem easier by going to your profile (click Profile at the top of the page) and switching "always allow BBCode" to on.
