NYC Hotel Recommendations?

Post by kbadr »

Anyone know of some reasonably priced, decent hotels (preferably with wireless internet access) in NYC. Near Penn station or Chelsea?

This sounds corny, but try Priceline.com. They can possibly hook you up with a good deal in a 3 star hotel near Penn Station.

I can't think of any except The Milford Plaza...it's near Broadway and 43rd, but not close to where you want.

I like the Hotel Wolcott. It's a little old and run down, and it has the slowest elevators this side of Slowelevatorland, but it's got a lot of character, the location is great (31st St., between 5th Avenue and Broadway, a few blocks from Penn Station), and for Midtown it's extremely cheap (~$100/night). The website is www.wolcott.com

Friend of mine highly recommended The Chelsea Star. I may hunt around some more, though.
