My friend Zell Miller (incredible Slam Poet, writer, and performer) is opening his newest show at Hyde park Theatre tonight. It is called My Child, My Child, My Alien Child, directed by Ken Webster. It is his very funny and very moving story about his son crash-landing into his life. Through poetry and laugh-out-loud monologues, Zell takes you through all the frustration, confusion, and supreme joy of parenthood.

He is a fantastic performer. His poetry is very powerful and thought provoking and he has a great sense of humor. The show is kinda spendy @ $17 / ticket, but if Thursdays are "Pay What You Can Thursdays" so that might be an option for some of you.

I hope some of you will take this opportunity to see a true master of his craft!

Damn right he's a fantastic performer. His speech at the 2004 GOP convention splitting from his party to back Bush was downright rousing.
