Julie, I will answer from experience. Yes, kids can go. But they won't necessarily want to stay. Note, I am back home. It has nothing to do with the music, everything to do with the kid.

Call me though. There is something up the street tonight that is more outside and will be kid friendly but also SXSW-related.

I'd say it's kid-friendly

Because of noise issues with the video store next door we tried to encourage acoustic or otherwise low-volume sets
