CALLING ALL DEVELOPERS

Post by DollarBill »

Ok, So I'm writing this plug-in for adobe illustrator in c/c++. I'm working with the Illustrator SDK, but I'm also trying to incorporate this XMP stuff with adobe's XMP SDK. Anyway the XMP SDK is really poorly documented and deals with XML and RDF and a bunch of other acronyms I've never really dealt with. If any of this sounds familiar to you... please... let's chat.

I'm totally stuck. I've been reading documentation all day. It's not sinking in. If you are a baller in the field of eXtensible Metadata Platforming or Resource Description Frameworks then lets get together and talk about it like it's something that people who aren't bad asses don't talk about.

I believe RDF is essentially RSS, which may or may not help. Otherwise, I'm mostly useless with C/C++

No idea what it is, but I've monkeyed around with XML before. Bet we could figure it out.

Plus, I have a Megadeth CD to give you. Pick a time and place.

Thanks Kareem! I'll buy you lunch. But let's meet tomorrow or Wednesday so I have a little more time to get a hold of this. Or what works for you?

If anything, we're making fun of ourselves. All this crap is ultimately unimportant and will be replaced with something else in 3 years.

How is "The Matrix" technology coming along? I want to plug something in the back of my head and have new skills in a matter of hours.

Come to our lunch and I'll stick many things in your skull. Through any number of data ports.

Really? Is this something? Did you two just have a conversation?

Is there binary sign language for lazy deaf nerds?
