I support an AIC male-bonding "thing".
We, the AIC fem-provisors, have our lovely "Women-Only" slumber party bc we want to bond and talk about stuff that girls like to talk about -- without having boys there to break up the dynamic. I love the idea of the guys having something like that, too. But if you are in an ALL-MALE troupe, you've probably already got that. And there is a pretty good chance in this community that you are in an all-male troupe -- or a troupe where women are in the minority (especially since I just learned Beeler is actually a bearded, limey man).
And (I know I don't really GET to have a say, but...) I also agree with Mikey in that you boys should celebrate your "manhood" (it IS special) by doing stuff you like, not just stuff you think is "masculine" in SPITE of the things you do like.
HOWEVER... Andrea is right to be concerned that you "boys" are talking about a hormonal celebration as some kind of jokey prostest to the girls having their festival. Funny women need your support, fellas. Either in seats or as volunteers.
So go and play and hang out doing "boy stuff". But whatever you do, please don't do it in CONFLICT with LAFF.
(PS Mikey, loved your sum-up.)

It's a movie about Persians. Damn right I'm gonna see it! Though, I anticipate that I will be disappointed.majcher wrote:Speaking of, is anyone going to see 300?
You work your life away and what do they give?
You're only killing yourself to live
