ok...Junk officially did not switch with School Girl Giddy. However, School Girl Giddy did give it's slot to Andy C. to do with whatever he wishes. So...Junk will be hosting on the 2nd. Andy, Troy, and I will b there to host (except Andy when he is playing). Andrea, with about 99% certainty, will not be there.

Wait, if Ted, Troy and Andy are all going to be there on the 2nd, why isn't it just a Junk show?

Andy...you can't fake the funk on a nasty dunk. You know that. (in a font that Andrea can't see) let's make this a Junk show and not tell Andrea

How do you do notes after your show if you're supposed to be taking tickets for the next one? This is even worse when people are playing in more than one show in a night.
I'd love to hear more from people on this. I think it is a great way to take some off of everybody's plate. Lot's of people talk about being spread too thin. This is one of the things we can adjust to lighten everyone's load. Of course it would take some adjustments and sacrifice by all, but nothing unreasonable. For example, the DB people host the 3fer. The first DB troupe does ticket sales and taking tickets, the second troupe does tech and hosting. That way the first troupe can begin warming up after the house is seated. The second can start after the show is over. Plus there is some time between shows. As for notes, the only people this would really affect is the 3rd troupe in the 3fer. However, if they are the tech and hosting crew for the DB, then they will have time.

It is a problem if someone is playing twice in one night. However, I think alot of people request that so that they don't have to be at the theatre on multiple nights to play and host. I know that is why I request it. Hosting when you play takes care of that too. You know you are playing every time you are there so at least you get to do what you came to do instead of having to just host. You are not having to make a special trip to the hideout for hosting.

Finally, another proposal might be to get UT/St. Eds/Southwestern Theatre student interns to host. Those students are wanting to be in theatre as a career. This is valuable experience for them. I was a technical theatre major and I would have jumped at the chance for something like this. I bet they would do it just for the experience and socialization aspect of it. No pay. They just love theatre. Ah...theatre people.

I've been talking about this for over a year. Nobody has ever taken on the project of posting something at any of these sites (though Bob A. did write the text we'd post). We'd also need someone to be in charge of the project: managing, scheduling and training the volunteers.

If the AIC still needs volunteers, I'm planning on coming to watch the 3fer and can help out for that show.

Okay, it sounds like Andy, Ted, Troy, and Jeremy will all be there to host. I originally thought there'd be more missing. Since Andy's in the threefer, that means we really just need someone to help out in the threefer. I'm sure that Asaf, Shana, or Mo can handle that.

Thanks so much for offering to help.
