Saying this goes against almost everything I believe in... but here goes: people tend to hit up garage sales REALLY early in the morning.

yeah, i know. the trouble is i'm not an early riser and i'm gonna have to do the leg work of getting things rolling. i'll already have to be up around 8 i'm guessing just to get everything out in the lot and set up. if i put the start time any sooner, i'll just have to get up earlier and on a sunday no less.
people will just have to wait or as we're setting things up they can certainly browse and certainly purchase.

I've got a Sony DVD player (with REMOTE!!!) with the AICs name on it. Maybe I'll find a DVD to throw in with it, like the big retail stores do. Or we'll auction off improvised cast and director commentaries of the movie.

...

...why aren't we doing that as a format?

If I'm not mistaken, members of the Leading Brands did a DVD format in a Cagematch not too long ago

Yep - McGill & McKenna. The way we did it really worked well as a two person format. We took a suggestion, did an improved movie trailer and then used the DVD menu as a spine to the show and did different audience selected 'bonus features' based on that initial fictional movie we set up. We had a lot of fun doing it.

I think it would be totally Sanford and Son if Junk performed at the garage sale. I haven't mentioned this to anybody in Junk, but I thought I'd throw it out there and see if it stuck.

Is there a chance of moving some of the items to Coldtowne the day before to make it easier in the morning? That way people could start setting up early and get sales rolling and new items could be added all the time. Either way, I am on hand to help moving on the day before or the morning of.

i don't think anything should be stored in coldtowne cuz that ain't fair to them unless it;s something extremely small. but if it's not a weather sensitive item, you could probably tuck it away in the back corner of the lot behind the theatre, maybe covered in trash bags. if it is weather sensitive, we'll have to do it the morning of.

alright, keep em coming folks. we need more stuff.

There's nowhere to store anything at CTT. There is no green room.

Unless you're looking to store old VHS tapes. Then there's plenty of space.

an "aquarium" complete with bowl, rock, cardboard box shelter, heater pad, and an unopened bag of wood chips perfect for keeping a pet snake. seeing as i use public transportation only, this item needs pickup. send me a private message if you want it.

Hey Jeremy! I have a couple of largeish chairs, some board games, some movies, a coffee table, and probably some other miscellaneous stuff as I pack. The furniture will need pick-up.
