Jesse Parent is improv rock star times a thousand. Consider taking one of these classes.

ColdTowne enjoys flying people out to teach classes because it's fun to work with mega-talented-experienced teachers. Workshop attendance has been down lately. This unfortunate trend means that we can't afford to put on these workshops much longer. Please consider taking a workshop this weekend.

ColdTowne stuck their necks out to bring this guy down. If there's any way you can get involved with these workshops, you will have done your good improv deed for the month.

Where are you tomorrow at 10:00am? Or from 1-6?

Sign me up for 10AM. I'd like to learn how to break that 4th wall the right way.

hear, hear
there's lots of half-assed wall-breaking in the AIC that makes me cringe. In my snooty aesthetic world, it should always always be 100% comedic choice, not just a shoddy convention to cover up needless breaks in character or glaring mistakes in listening. Jesse Parent is a goddamn savior when it comes to the subject.

I also took The Hook at last year's DSI festival, and high huge highly from-a-skyscraper recommend it. It's Dada, Beat, Jazz, and hell/high-water-charged Group Mind rolled into one. The dude's in high demand on the festival circuit for a reason. I'd be taking it again if I weren't already in north carolina.

I am thinking to do the 10am. Put me down for now.

Been a while since I did a class.
