open auditions for New Improv Team!!!!

Post by arthursimone »

Everyone asks, "where's the new team?" Well, here it comes!

On Sunday, January 28 from 1-4pm at the ColdTowne Theater, ColdTowners Chris Trew and Arthur Simone will host a free, open, class-style audition for anyone in the community and beyond who wants to be on a brand-new improv team. This is open to literally anyone, regardless of skill level, style, current status, or general performance experience.

We'll be looking for combinations of committed people who work well together and sponsor their formation. The 7 to 11 people selected (with enough interest, there could very well be two teams formed) will be given a handful of "ice-breaker" rehearsals at ColdTowne Theater, but will then be encouraged to discover their own name, style, coach, etc.

I think Kaci, at least, would argue that there aren't ENOUGH orphans out there.

I am an improv orphan. Or at least, a free agent. Contract disputes and all...

Well, that's what I get for not reading the forums carefully. Damn.
Oh well. What a great idea and I'm sorry I missed out. I can't wait to see who the newly adopted are!
