First Thursday - Thursday, Feb. 2nd

Post by Wesley »

First Thursday is upon us again and we would love some help handing out flyers.

Here's the deal...
Some of us have rehearsals or shows that night, so this month will be B.Y.O.T. (Bring Your Own Troupe). Kareem dropped off a stack of flyers at the Hideout in the box office, so you can swing by there to pick up as many as you need. Some of us will be going early, around 7:00 and will probably set up camp around the Big Red Boot (Allen's boots), but we'll also walk around a bit. We'll bring a stack of flyers with us so that people who show up early can grab some from us.

If you want to come early, that's great! If you are free around 8:00, that's better, because that's when the crowds start to really pick up. If you are free at 9:00 or 10:00, get your ass out there because that's prime time, baby! Prime Time!

Bring musical instruments and make up songs. Do scenes on the street. Make flyering fun for you AND the patrons! This isn't a chore, or a requirement, but boy it sure helps build the audience awareness.

Anything you can do will be appreciated!

The stack of flyers is on the top shelf in the box, by the way. So if you don't see them when you walk by, it's because you have to go into the box to find them. Also, there's treasure burried somewhere in The Hideout and the map is on the back of one of the flyers. If you hand out flyers, you might be the lucky treasure hunter who will know where to look for the goods.

We will not be there, as we are guest appearing with Tight for their showcase show. However, a trip to campus next week will make up for it. I promise.

I'll be there tonight. GGG has their own flyers, but I'd like a stack of AIC flyers to hand out, too. I will be under the boot around 8:00, if anyone can meet me and hand me some flyers.

ColdTowne Assist

Dude(s)--

We're performing tonight with Tight during the traditional flyering hour. Can I get someone ColdTowne Flyers to pass out tonight between five and 6:30?

We'll get your back next week, as we'll be wallpapering the city with CT flyers and can do the same for your team.

email or message me.

The Girls were well represented at 1st Thursday last night.

Mo, Andrea, Caitlin and I sang on the street corner while Jay and Christina helped us hand out flyers.

6 of us were there for an hour and probably handed out 50-75 flyers.

Props to everyone who came out to promote AIC.

Last night was fun for the hour that Parallelogramophonograph was handing out flyers. We quickly learned that if you yell "PARALLELOGRAMOPHONOGRAPH!" at people as they pass by, it will more often than not confuse/stun them long enough to put a flyer in their hands. It has become my killing word.
