Latino Comedy Project

Post by HerrHerr »

LCP does a run @ Ester's in January.

If you haven't seen them, you should. They are the best sketch comedy troupe in town. They've been around
for seven years and are very polished from the writing to the acting to the tech work.

They play Jan. 4-6 (Thurs--Sat.) and I think tix are $20. So save your money!

I plan on seeing the early Friday show.

After this show they play at the San Francisco Sketch Festival and then have a showcase in L.A.

Sure. Many of you know that Danu is a member of LCP...perhaps some of you didn't.

Regardless, Hoover's Blanket aspires to be as solid a troupe as LCP. Doing sketch ain't easy, many of you know.

And (just saying) not all plugs have to be AIC direct plugs.

Come join the fun. Screw that Potter dude. Come watch some awesome LIVE sketch.

May I just add that Chris is right: LCP brings it with both hands. And you can trust me, because I'm not canoodling with any of them.

I like "canoodling." Yes, I am a canoodler!

I know a guy in the LCP, name of Guillermo DeLeon. Very funny and talented -- I used to perform with him in the Cricket City Improv troupe in Commerce, TX.

Love 'em. Danu was in my Heroes of Comedy classes with Sean Hill some four years ago. She's adorable, and I'm glad she and Ceej are kickin' it love-style.

I really liked their OOB show.

Will this show have different material or a mix of what I've seen before + new stuff?

They are doing a "Best of" show. The show is close to two hours (with the intermission). I'm not sure if there's new stuff, but they only did about forty-five minutes at OoB. It will mostly be new to me and I'm stoked!

Bump!

Check 'em out on My Space. They have video sketches and some of the best promo photos I've seen around town.

Again, I'm going to the 8pm show this Friday.
