Tonight is it. Your last chance to see After School Improv for a while.

I know what you're saying. "But we're broke, Pgraph. It was just Christmanukahwanzaa for Chrissake!"

Well, that's why tonight's episode of After School Improv is going to be FREE!

That's right, for one night only we will cast aside the class system that separates the Austin Improvisers from the loving Austin Audiences. Everyone gets in free.

So why the hell wouldn't you come and drag all your friends along for the ride?

Because you hate us?
Because you hate yourself and don't feel you deserve some free entertainment?
Come on now, you're worth it. You know it. Come laugh at us.

i've had this on my calendar for three weeks. it's the only thursday i haven't been in TNA or at First Thursday or both since CTT opened.

Because I'm working in Bastrop, and I can't call in sick or fatally injured. But REALLY want to go. I, too, will be all spirit-like and watch as such.

Thanks to all who showed up. It was a well-attended, fun (albeit weird) show.
And we're hoping to get the Nutty Funsters to come back to town sometime in the new year. They're such a perky buncha jokesters!

i'm wondering how much the funsters portion of the show affected the after school portion. did you guys talk about that at all in notes? i'm always curious about shortform and longform all in one show by essentially the same group.

We did, and we think it had a negative impact on our longform show, particularly because the shortform was personaprov. It put us in a very weird headspace. We still enjoyed it a lot, but we're going to make sure we keep them on separate bills from Pgraph from now on.

And what an appearance they made! Though they're from West Carolina, not Austin.
