Need your input - Music

Post by Asaf »

So I am working on a brochure about the AIC. And I thought one thing that could make the brochure more fun and thus convey the humor of the AIC is if there was a little note at the top of each section of a piece of music they should listen to or imagine in the background as they read that section. (Anyone who has read S.C.U.D The Disposable Assassin might understand where I got the inspiration.)

So I want to see your suggestions for music pieces. The sections are as follows:

1. ABOUT THE AIC – Bold, fearless, silly and smart The Austin Improv Collective (AIC) is a group of talented and experienced actors, comedians, musicians, and artists absolutely and insanely dedicated to creating the best improv in Central Texas. Through performance, classes, and community outreach, the AIC is deeply committed to bringing this uniquely accessible and invaluable art form to everyone in Austin. We believe improvisation is for everyone and changes lives for the better. Come out and play with us!

2. A section about The Hideout and Coldtowne Theater (one song for the both, please)

3. A section about taking improv classes

4. A section about how to volunteer for or donate to the AIC

I know that Austin is a music town, but we do not want to get too obscure in the choices.

Thanks for your help in advance.

If you disrespect your character, or play it just for laughs, it will sell some gags, but it's all technique.
