Okay, so I caught a couple people trying to plan a surprise party for me, and surprise parties make me uncomfortable (and besides, Kaci just had one) so I'm nipping that in the bud by inviting all of you to my home on Friday for a casual gathering that might be labeled by some (including my octagenarian neighbors) as a party.
Come whenever you can. I'll be here starting at 8:00pm. If you're doing shows, drop by in the wee hours of the morning. If you're free on Friday, spend your evening chillin' with me and some beers and some tamales from Curas.
I'll be providing some beers and tasties, but as always you're welcome to bring something small to share with whoever shows up.
Directions: Find the intersection of South Congress and Annie (near Magnolia South, a few streets north of Olthorf). Head east three streets, take a right (south) on Drake. I'm the house with the tikki torches. 1813 Drake.
