Paidia Diana Majcher popped out at 3:43 today, after nine hours of contractions and three hours of pushing. There was a lot of hollering, but everything's all set up and totally cool. We're just chilling out in the bedroom now, working on the first meal. I'll see what kind of grub Bernie wants after she comes down a bit. We totally appreciate all the goodness and support, y'all.
This is totally surreal and awesome.

Man, it's way too late for that. In Texas, at least. Maybe he could change it to an adoption agency or something. Or a crib in a dark, snowy wood, surrounded by wolves. Or the Teletubbies. *shudder* No, no, anything but that. Let's go with the wolves.ratliff wrote:Justin, if you're going to post on this thread, can you please change your fucking avatar?

Oh yeah - we're going to be resting most of today, but people are welcome to swing by anytime to check out the grub and say hi and everything. Just give a call or something to give us a little notice so we can put pants on and stuff.
Also, just for the record, there is a monumental amount of laundry involved with a home birth. Thank you, kickass midwives.

NEW AVATAR CONTEST FOR ME!!!!!
I do not endorse this contest. Especially since he's been growing out the facial hair, the coathanger avatar is perfect.
