people can start coming over to ColdTowne Manor (3204 Kay Street) at 6pm. I have materials, but I still strongly encourage you to bring your own for your project, since I don't know how many to expect.

Wine and Cheese are the only acceptable consumables you can bring. Crackers, maybe, but otherwise this is a non-negotiable point.

Hmmm. I planned for cheese but also bread. Damn you and your rules, Simone.

Count me in. I'm planning to work on one of two projects that have been sitting in my office:

A) small, square, casein painted paper on canvas collage
B) decopaged photo frames

I suppose I have something I could work on.
Thanks for the clarity.

Hah. It'll be weird, I have my drawing class from 4-6pm, and we're doing one long pose of a nude in pastels (again). It'll be very frustrating and draining. I wonder what it'll feel like to do more work after it.

Can someone give me a ride home from art night?

I'd really like to come to this but I have rehearsal tonight. Please hold another.

If I'm there when you're leaving, I can give you a ride, Kaci.

I was the first to arrive and the first to leave, but it was delightful and I hope there are more. Thanks Arthur (and Coldtowne) for opening your home.

wine and crackers! domino's had a special on crackers, apparently.

I was slow to accept my hosting duties because of last-minute panicscrambling to get my Blue Genie show finished, but when I got back Kaci was at an easel, Andy was sketching on the floor, Sara was working a tiny canvas, Madeline was working an even tinier printer, and a teeny tiny Julie was working on journal entries. A score of others had their noses in their laptops, and justin just generally kept score.

fun stuff, I like wandering around and watching people create.

we will indeed do this again, perhaps the first or second tuesday of every month? something like that. monthly.
