There is a huge summer camp fair at the end of January each year. That is when most of the big institutions have their summers schedules done and are ready to start taking checks. If we want to be on that schedule then we probably ought to get our stuff together as soon as the New Year is over.
There are some great paid places to advertise, but we may not need that as we will be a bit smaller. I know for one thing, if had gotten the info for the class earlier I could have passed it to some of the other summer camp people in town so when their wait list was full we could have asked them to pass our names on. That is something we can make sure to have next year.
I would love to be on one of the committees involved with this next year.
