thanks again to everyone who voted for me and ColdTowne; these are the first goddamn awards I've won for improv (or comedy in general), and it feels really good to have 'em.
that being said, Phil, we fought the good fight. I thank you for running a remarkable campaign in your signature on behalf of the "caesar's ghost" quote, but the time has come for closure! Let us close ranks behind "I'm totally washing your mom off my dick" and promote the unified front necessary to the continued success of our community. (there's always '08!)

Gives me something to work toward with next year's Most Improved 'Tude Award.
In all seriousness, the awards were amazingly fun. It was so nice to see the community come together and show so much love and respect and have a little friendly competition and a lot of good food. Kudos to Rachel and Valerie and everyone else to helped to make this happen.
And here's to another year of improv growth, success, and community!

Couple-Few Things:
One! Good job on the awards. Props to the folks who put it together. It was fun and awesome and well done.
Two! Some catagories I'd like added. Sean Hill Life Time Achievement Award - or something of that ilk. Musical Improvisor Award - so Craig and I can at least get nominated for something and lose to Shana.
Three! I know it's a like a intercommunity love fest, but for what it's worth, my Dad thinks we should invite press next year.
FOUR!!! Andy Crouch gets the Bill Stern Mad Respect Award for being a huge huge YUDGE pimp and player. Without him, who knows how much of any of this improv jazz would be possible.
Five! It's awesome to meet all you people! If we meet and I don't know your name, I'M SO SORRY. I'm bad at remembering names. Bad at remembering everything, actually. If you tell me what your picture looks like on the boards then I will remember... actually probably not. If you tell me what kind of car you drive... well... actually I would probably just remember your car, but not your name. But keep reminding me. Anyway. It's fun to be back. Fun fun fun. Y'all are awesome. Let's prov together.

They call me Dollar Bill 'cause I always make sense.
Ditto, Crouch rules. I know I wouldn't be here if it weren't for him. Mad props...mad respect.DollarBill wrote: FOUR!!! Andy Crouch gets the Bill Stern Mad Respect Award for being a huge huge YUDGE pimp and player. Without him, who knows how much of any of this improv jazz would be possible.
