well - i have thoroughly enjoyed this post!! ladies! i laugh. thank you!

I got mine when i was 16! just like my grandma Rose did. and I wanted to get it soooo bad. A few years ago - I started feeling myself ovulate too. wierd. I don't get that much pain. but I do get moods. really pretty ones. I used to get my period like every other month when I was younger - I took the pill for a while - to regulate 'em. I now hate the pill - plus it made me nuts. I kinda like bleeding - it makes me feel like a woman.

I'm waiting for mine right now - it doesn't come when I'm stressed. I have to relax in order for it to flow.

Jessica - "if their bad there is nothing like vicoden and a glass of white wine."

if ANYTHING is bad there is nothing like vicoden and a glass of white wine. and by white wine i mean weed. : )

love you women!

Wow that Awards ceremony was a huge turning point.
Anyone start a new period for the AIC last night?

If the descriptions on this thread are accurate, I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating.

My goals for the coming year include getting on the official Girls Girls Girls cycle and being nominated for Male Improviser Most Comfortable With His Femininity.

Ah....my cycle arrived during the reading of this post. Nice. Now maybe I'll get in a better mood. Wine? Weed? Anyone?

Nominated, sure.

I am still waiting.

I am still waiting.

Don't worry, Dave. I'm sure it will happen.

I finally got mine. But then it went away. But then it came back again. But then it went away again. But then it came back again...

All right, mission accomplished. Menstruation thread successfully owned by unruly men. Red tent, my ass.

I got mine on my Walkabout...but not just any Walkabout. It happened during the filming of the movie of the same name. Nick Roeg loaned me a tampon. He went on to make Witches some twenty-odd years later.

Oh, wait. This isn't the pop culture thread.

Sarah Farr asked me to post for another aic girls sleepover and this thread seemed the appropriate place.

Please come and demonstrate the menstrual basket/cup for all of us that are too scared to even consider this little red ridinghood maxipad alternative. There is now a hot tub where you can wash up.

Does Friday, December 1 work for anybody?
