Hey now!
It's rare that I see any reality tv/game show casting that I would seriously consider...but,
I would love to be on a team with two other pop culture trivia rock stars.
I know I can compete with the best of them
Mac Antigua did this last year and made it to the TV show.
Some other friends from ChicagO Comedy Sportz were there too and made it inot the second round on the tv show.
plus, the host of the show is really good and awesome.(altlough i don't know him)
Anyone want to train for this and do this for realsies?!?!

If you disrespect your character, or play it just for laughs, it will sell some gags, but it's all technique.

We should have multiple teams, and try to spread out the knowldge.
Vines, Buckman and myself on a team would be a poor choice...unless they decide to make it a very special Balls-Out Metal edition of Pop Culture Trivia

2 things:
1)
I'm highly down for this. I have a catalogue of useless factoids. my specialties would be 80s R&B, Stand-up Comedy, and Austin improv history.
2)
Hooray for Austin being on such a short list with other great cities. Coincidentally, other cities with large comedy scenes. Coincidence?.....

I own a copied cassete of this.

i think i could do well in this, if paired with complementary trivia folks. my knowledge of pop culture ends around the mid to late 90s, but it extends far far back and admittedly rests heavily on the 60s.
also, i need that $250,000 for my new expensive lifestyle i've been saving up for. please help me be the best and most expensive me i can be.
bits aside, i want to do this.

why not? let's send teams to represent and spend their winnings on AIC gokarts.
my proposal:::::::::::
Sometime in the next couple of weeks, anyone who's interested can gather for a game or two of trivial pursuit, strengths and weaknesses can be appraised and teams that click together will be formed. Teams can even get coaches.
You people are all so brilliant; go win money and give it to me!

Another thing
Another really cool thing about this particular show is that in order to break a tie breaker they will give you and your opponent from theother team a subject with multiple answers and you have to go back and forth until someone cannot think of one.
For example:
Since winning Best Actor Award for Philadelphia, Tom Hanks has been in 12 movies that have grossed over $100 million. Name them.
I am so psycehd to audition for this...
We need to put our competing teams together soon.
Where? When?
