Painting Cookies Dec. 3rd
I know it seems early, but calendars do fill up.
Anyone want to paint holiday cookies at my house on December 3rd? Coffee, cookies, colorful sugar based icing, funtimes... etc.
I was thinking 1-3pm on Sunday. Any interest?
(If so, then I will prep. if not, then I will try again later).

we moved the general body meeting to 3pm-6pm that day, which means that these events don't overlap. i mention because i know you all want to keep your schedules free to attend the general body meetings.

Kids are welcome:
Recommended ages are 2 and up. My sister's 2 year old participated (breifly) in our October "trial run" cookie painting. Most kids are usually happy with bowl of icing they can dip their cookies in and then lick them off. Makes the colors slobbery, though. Therefore, each kid can have their own small sample of colors so they don't slobber in ours.
However, I need to warn you that my house isn't really baby-proofed and you may need to chaperone them when they get hopped up on the sugar and want to run around. Also, I don't have a fenced-in yard, so a second person who can accompany the kids to the park to run off the sugar is HIGHLY recommended.
Cooking Painting Techniques I can demo:
"Base Coat with Sprinkles" - good for mass production
"Dribble & Splatter" - a la Jackson Pollack
"Marbelizing" - eazy, fun, and looks impressive
"Toothpick Painting" - good for detailed work
Any cookie you paint you can eat or take home.
