1) I'm now on a blood pressure med and an anti-anxiety med. The anti-anxiety med may decrease my ability to be funny, but it will make me a nicer person to be around, I think, so it comes as kind of a wash.
2) I'm going in for an ultrasound to check if I have cancer. Odds are against, but I still need to get it looked at.

I won't know on the cancer "for sure" until Wednesday because the ultrasound operator can't make a diagnosis. But he did say that "as a non-professional opinion," it looks like I don't have much to worry about.

So there's much to celebrate, yes?

You work your life away and what do they give?
You're only killing yourself to live

Well, I'm still on blood pressure medication which means that I really can't do anything too strenuous until my blood pressure normalizes. Which means no pro-improv, and improv in classes will probably be very verbal, not physical.

BTW, I'm posting from work, but if someone from HR reads this, I'm informing my friends that I'm Not Dying. That's a pretty big deal, and something I shouldn't make them wait on.

HR can't fire you if you're suffering from a terminal illness and you are still able to perform your work duties. It's against the law ( even in this state) and you can sue for a whole lot of cash.

The one on Burnet & 183? Yeah, I was buying breakfast (not ham) batteries and tape for my recorder while I was having my prescription filled. I stayed at work till 7:30 because of the time I spent missing work due to doctor's appts and did not want to take any more paid leave.

Well Brian, that's the answer to your medical problems.

You're a robot.

I suggest you seek out incept dates and research longevity. Also, start seeing things we humans wouldn't believe.

Researching longevity past the programmed seven years is illegal.

I think it's time I get my Blade Runner license back so I can retire a few more Replicants.

Doctor came back with the urinalysis test and it came back negative. For what, I don't know, but it's nice to know that I have normal pee.

(Lunch hour! Don't fire me!)

The ultrasound sonagram came back today, and I'm clean and cancer-free. Turns out my left testicle is just hard and lumpy by nature.

Hey, mine too! We're testicle buddies!

Seriously, though, I'm glad it all came back positive (that is, to say, negative)

Someone should start a "do the women of AIC menstruate at the same time?" thread.

Brian, I'm glad you're not dying.
