Who wants to be on Television for Mojo Kickball?

Post by chicocarlucci »

Yo my homeys!
Ok, it's News8Austin, but they're doing two segments on us stretched across consecutive Fridays. It's part of their segment called "Fit For Friday". And this could be some awesome press for Mojo Kickball.

Friday 10/27/2006 at Noon
The first one is at Noon THIS Friday and is do-able if you have a flexible schedule or you just want to goof off from work to come play some Mojo Kickball.

Friday 11/03/2006 at 5:45 AM
This is the bitch of one, but if you can make it I will owe you big time. Beers-a-plenty.
This is a live Mojo Kickball game segment that lasts from 5:45am to 8:15am, while they are broadcasting, they will switch back and forth on our game. Sweet. Ok, maybe you can't make it at 5:45am but if you come between then and 7:30am, we should be able to get at least some play time in before your busy day at work.. or napping. Whichever.

One things for sure, during these segments I'm going to be mentioning the AIC about every 10 seconds and how the game would not be possible without you guys.

Check this out for more details:

If you can make Mojo Kickball this Friday at noon for even a half-hour, we will totally find a way to accomodate you. Just so you know. My ultimate dream is that we have 30 people out there on their lunch hour whooping ass and playing the hell out of the game. I want to overwhelm the news team.
C'mon! You're boss is a chump anyway.. :)

Also, check out the new website if you haven't seen it.

I'd be happy to show up and stand around and look like I'm playing, but I can't actually play for medical reasons. Is that cool?

its at krieg softball complex field 5 (i think).

here's a map: http://maps.citysearch.com/location/11353885

hope to see you bright and early :)

edit: the "i think" refers to the field number. its definitely at krieg softball complex. we will be the only people there. unless its like last time and the austin swat team is there doing training.

it was awesome. it was the most fun mojo kickball EVER.

except for tomorrow afternoon, when we play again at the same place (3pm)

the camera crew ended up not getting there until 7:45ish, but we were a small and very committed group that played several games.

hope you feel better, dave :)

Today's game was intense. With a small amount of players, it meant more running and kicking for us. I am BEAT UP and have my personal trainers currently getting my body back in Mojo shape for Saturdays game.

Come play or watch Mojo tomorrow. For real.
