FACT OF THE DAY: Raising the minimum wage disproportionately impacts mediocre restaurants. A $1 increase in minimum wage makes it 10% more likely that a restaurant with 3.5 stars on Yelp will close, but has no impact on a 5-star restaurant in the same area.
