FACT OF THE DAY: The 1990 films Goodfellas and My Blue Heaven were both inspired by the mobster Henry Hill. Goodfellas is based on the book “Wiseguy” by Nicholas Pileggi, and My Blue Heaven was written and directed by Pileggi’s wife, Nora Ephron. The two films were released one month apart.
