FACT OF THE DAY: In early 2018, 7-year-old Tanitoluwa Adewumi arrived in New York City with his family as a Nigerian refugee. Adewumi soon learned how to play chess and demonstrated extreme aptitude for it. This month, a year after learning the game, Adewumi won the New York state K-3 championship.
