FACT OF THE DAY: In 2014, as a joke, Ohio resident Zack Brown started a Kickstarter campaign with a $10 goal to make a potato salad. The campaign went viral and raised $55,492. Brown used the money to fund a music-and-potato festival called PotatoStock, which raised money for the homeless population in Ohio.
