FACT OF THE DAY: During the D-Day invasion on June 6, 1944, American paratroopers captured a Korean who was wearing a Nazi uniform. After taking him to England and finding a Korean interpreter, the Allies determined that he had been forcibly conscripted by Japan; then captured and forcibly conscripted by the Soviet Union; and then captured and forcibly conscripted by Germany. (The Allies did not forcibly conscript him.)
