FACT OF THE DAY: North Sentinel Island, located between Myanmar and Indonesia in the Bay of Bengal, is home to a stone-age native tribe that has never been contacted by the outside world. The Sentinelese, numbering somewhere between 50 and 400, attack any outsiders who approach the island. In the 1990s, the Indian government banned any attempts at contact.
