FACT OF THE DAY: On Sunday night, outfielder Brandon Thomas of the Gateway Grizzlies (an independent baseball team based in Sauget, IL) hit a grand-slam home run during a game against the Joliet Slammers. After the game, Thomas discovered that his ball had smashed the window on his own pickup truck in the parking lot.
