FACT OF THE DAY: The Phoenix Gorilla, mascot of the Phoenix Suns, started accidentally. In 1980, a man named Harry Rojas donned a gorilla suit to deliver a singing telegram to a person at the game, and was egged onto the court by fans at half-time. Rojas was requested back by fans for subsequent games and eventually hired as the full-time mascot.
