How Many Troupes Are YOU In?

Post by smerlin »

I'm putting out feelers for a possible newspaper story.

Who is in the most troupes/projects?

Are there a handful of people that are the "core connectors" of the AIC?

Are you in the running? List all the troupes/projects/shows you have been in the past 6 months or so.
Or nominate someone else and list all their stuff.

For Example:

Shana Merlin:
  • Girls Girls Girls
    Get Up
    Whirled News
    Cops and Lawyers
    Start Trekkin'
    A Cagematch team or two
    Xlent sketch comedy contest
A random Maetsro and Graduation Show here and there

You improvise every day.
Why not get good at it?

Parallelogramophonograph
Hoover's Blanket
Cops & Lawyers
Whirled News Mk. II
Start Trekkin
321Kill!
Mockumentia
Maestro, Smattering of cagematches and/or Blank Shows, but I dunno if they count.

Hmm...most of those aren't happening anymore. This makes me sad.

i am in one troupe. da girls 3.
i also lead a troupe of male homo sapiens skipping merrily towards maturity. i like to call them the lucai.
i'd like to be in more troupes. Unlikely, due to scheduling.
in my mind, i've been in lots.

This is looking good. Thanks for your input, everyone. I wonder if there is a list of like 5 people that are so involved that they basically cover the whole improv scene.

It seems like there is one contingent missing, like a Frank Mills/$10 Bourbon/Leading Brands/YM&G connection

Or maybe Christina b/c she's not in a troupe per se but does a bunch of stuff.

I'm planning on sending an email to the paper by the end of the week.
