Auditions for "The Last Freak Show - A Melodrama With Two Heads" are happening on Sunday, March 2nd from 3 pm to 6 pm at The Institution Theater! If you would like to schedule an audition please send an email to Tom Booker at TheLastFreakShow@gmail.com.

The Institution Theater is holding auditions for "The Last Freak Show - A Melodrama with Two Heads," a musical that was originally produced by Theatre-A-Go-Go! in Los Angeles in 1994. The show was conceived by Tom Booker and the music was written by Laura Hall.

"The Last Freak Show - A Melodrama with Two Heads" tells the story of a retirement home for old circus freak that is about to be closed down until someone says, "Hey, Freaks! Let's put on a show!"

This remounting of "The Last Freak Show - A Melodrama with Two Heads" will be directed by Tom Booker and will run at The Institution Theater on Saturday nights at 8 pm in May. We will be holding auditions on Sunday, March 2nd from 3 pm to 6 pm.

We are seeking people for the following roles:

Ballyhoo Bob: Older Man. He is the leader of the group and runs what is left of the sideshow.

Myrtle - The Four Legged Woman: She is married to Ballyhoo Bob and is kind of the mother of the troupe. She has four legs but is confined to a wheelchair.

Seal Girl: Older woman who has not arms. Her hands come out of her shoulder blades. She's a bit of a kook.

Mr. Head The Bodyless Wonder: He is a head on a skateboar. He is the angriest most vile person on the planet.

Gorilla Girl: She's a young woman covered entirely in fur. She is the daughter of Ballyhoo Bob and Myrtle - The Four Legged Woman. She falls in love with Little Dick, the banker's son.

Jay/Jayne - The Half Man/Half Woman: The name of the character kind of says it all.

Cling & Clang - The Homophobic Siamese Twins: Cling and Clang are conjoined twins who hate each other because each one thinks that the other one is gay. It is later revealed that they both are gay.

The Man With His Head Up His Ass - He is an unusual circus freak who was unfortunately born with his head popping out of his butt!

Mr. Dick - The Banker: Older man who is the evil banker who is trying to shut down the retirement home for old circus freaks.

Little Dick - The Banker's Son: Good looking young man who doesn't like what his father is doing. He falls in love with Gorilla Girl.

Mr. Weasel - The Banker's "Assistant"; Smarmy man who does the bankers bidding.
