VIEWPOINTS is a technique used to increase your awareness and focus during performance, becoming a servant to the work rather than a slave to our obligations. This class is about opening up, becoming vulnerable, and learning more about yourself to increase your range as a performer. Actors will use movement, meditation, and elements of dance to become alert and present.

Sarah Marie Curry will channel the work of Anne Bogart for a four-week intensive teaching the basics of viewpoints, expanding awareness and focus for improvisational performance. All you need to do is show up and be present.

SARAH MARIE CURRY has extensive experience in performance and musical theatre and has been recognized for her work in local productions of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Company and I Love You Because (to name a few). She has been an improvisational actress since 2009 and is a proud member of the B. Iden Payne Award Winning Troupe: Girls Girls Girls Improvised Musicals. She regularly performs, directs, produces, manages, teaches improv at The Institution Theater.
