FACT OF THE DAY: In 1956, a 26 year-old man named Tommy Fitzpatrick stole a plane from a New Jersey airport and landed it in Manhattan directly in front of a pub he frequented, winning a bar bet in the process. Two years later, he did it again, telling the police he had done so after a bar patron refused to believe he had done the first one.
