Always. Be. Counting. Confidence Men: Improvised Mamet have counted 99 of their own shows to date, and now they want to celebrate for the night of their 100th. They call this night, "Confidence Men: 100 Shows and C#nting." You see, because their language is vulgar sometimes.
Raffle tickets will earn audience members chances to play in scenes with Confidence Men--five improvised scenes, five chances to win! Three new Confidence Men short films will have their world premiere screening. (They've always talked about wanting to make short improvised Mamet films, and now they've gone and actually done it, after commissioning one of their favorite special guest improvisers, Peter Rogers, to give them movie location suggestions.)
"100 Shows and C#nting" will conclude with their 100th show, a two-act play improvised in the style of David Mamet, with a one-minute live music intermission. Everyone is welcome to stay after the show for a Confidence Men party right there at The Institution Theater, and your show ticket gets you free Chicago-style pizza.
