Thanks for the interest!
We are now cast for this season.
Brett
Hello friends....
Brett Weaver here.
Some of you might know me from doing shows and taking classes at the Hideout.
I have an opportunity for some Actors/Improvisers.
The Wizard's Academy in Dripping Springs (Near the Salt Lick) is once again offering Journey of the Wise Men. It is an interactive Nativity play put on the last two weekends before Christmas (Dec. 14-15 and the 21st and 22nd)
It is roughly scripted and takes the audience on a walk through the grounds as they search for a child of promise by a guide. On the way, they will meet people connected to this child.
Here's what we are looking for.
Hannah - The Inn Keeper's wife. She is upset because she's had to walk everywhere since her husband gave away their mule to this couple. Late Mid 30s on up.
Centurion - No nonsense peace keeper that's upset by all the visitors. Yeah.. you will be wearing that outfit. Athleticish...
Mary - 20s to late 30s You know her from story. Now be the Mother of Christ (No actual spoken lines)
Since the audience is up close, we have always had room to be playful but stay on track. That's why improvisers that can learn lines are welcome.
The pay is 45$ a performance night (5:00 pm call. Performance from 6-9pm)
We'll have a few rehearsals, one fitting, and a tech run through.
Interested? Add your picture and contact information!
Or send it to Brett@big-big-truck.com
We always enjoy ourselves and it's a great excuse to hang out in nature for a couple of weekends.

Re: Paying Interactive Nativity Gig!
This is a good gig. It's directed by my friend Monica Ballard. I played the Centurion a couple years ago and had a blast.
