Submit to perform at ColdTowne in Oct. & Nov.

Post by TexasImprovMassacre »

Submissions to perform at ColdTowne in Oct. and Nov. are now open.

Please Click Here to submit your act's availability by Friday, Sept. 6th at 11:59pm.

***Please Note***
There is a new time slot open on Tuesday evenings at 8:30pm where shows will receive 90 minutes to perform.

Every Tuesday will feature a different act.

The purpose of this time slot is to offer stage time to a wider variety of shows.

Specifically, we hope to showcase more written works and "concept" shows that need longer than 20-30 minutes to perform.

Preference in this slot will be given to sketch shows, plays, stand-up showcases, game shows & competitions, video showcases, podcast recordings, etc...

With regard to all submissions, we will do our best to offer stage time to as many acts as possible. Acts from any performance background, or theater are encouraged to submit.

If your act is accepted you will be notified with a copy of the theater's schedule (along with a copy of the below policies) at the contact email you provide. Please review the schedule when you receive it, and make note of your act's show date(s). This will be the only notification you receive regarding your show(s).

The theater's goal is to give stage time to a wide variety of groups, shows, and performers. If you have any questions about how how the scheduling decisions are made please feel free to email Cody@ColdTowneTheater.com for more information.

COLDTOWNE PERFORMER POLICIES

- Call time for ALL ACTS is half an hour before the block of shows begin. IE: If the show block begins at 8:30, all acts are asked to be at the theater by 8pm (even if your act isn't performing first). Acts in the 10pm shows are asked to be at the theater by 9:30, etc...

- The "hosting" act will be the troupe performing last in any given show block. This act will be responsible for introducing the opening acts, and segueing between acts. If you have any questions about this process please consult with the interns on duty that evening, or email Cody (Cody@Coldtownetheater.com).

- We ask that all performers do their best to dress "nice". At the least we ask that you please not wear t-shirts with logos on the front.

If you have any questions, or if a scheduling conflict comes up and your act will be unable to perform please contact Cody Dearing at Cody@Coldtownetheater.com.
