New Goddamn Theater! call for task monkeys

Post by arthursimone »

I've built the stage and risers at the soon-to-be ColdTowne Theater, but I still have some very specific tasks remaining:

Drywall construction
Running power
Painting

I'll be working the next two-three days to build the drywall corridor to the bathroom, gimmie a call at (seven seven three) five seven fifve - tree three zeeeeero threee if you want to pitch in a little

But what I really really need most of all is someone who understands electrics- this is something I have no experience with but I'd rather not have to contract out.

The painting will be last.

I might be available Friday afternoon. Depends if we're still getting the afternoon off for ACL Fest (which I'm skipping)

Painting is the only thing I'm remotely qualified to help with. Are you going to be doing any after the weekend, or is that too late?

I'm getting my injured shoulder worked on today, but tomorrow (friday) I'm feeling very ambitious.

I'm looking for THREE volunteers tomorrow, whatever time you can give. you don't have to know squat, just be able to use a screw gun and take some simple direction. I'll buy you lunch and brand you with my gratitude brand and your skin will hiss.

unfortunately, I'll be laid up with my shoulder again friday, but thanks anyway. We have time, I'll do another call for volunteers in a few days.

Yeah, they SAY they're painting, when all they're actually doing is lying around moaning and putting cold compresses on their heads. Fucking artists.
