Join the Flying Theater Machine as we explore what it was like to be a Dinosaur! Can T-Rex and Triceratops ever get along? Will the Dino families be able to accept a big turquoise dinosaur? What will Maiasaura do when the Ovarapter moves in next door!?! (There will be no actual dinosaurs, just people in silly hats.) We don't know until the show happens, and you can help us. Feel free to come along in Dinosaur costume--we may need your help on stage. Join us every Sunday at 2pm for our journey back in time! The more the merrier! Tickets and information at HideoutTheatre.com
Every Sunday, Improvisors act silly, kids laugh loudly, and parents watch happily as a new and unique story unfolds biased on the suggestions of the kids in the audience. Some of our favorite audience quotes are:
"That was so much fun!" - Kid.
"Thanks, we'll be back next week." - Grown-up
"I laughed so hard my sides hurt!" - Kid
"You all are amazing!" - Grown-up.
The Flying Theater Machine has been tickling the funny bones of Austin Children for the past 5 years. "I created The Flying Theater Machine as a way to bring improvisation to kids in Austin," says Hideout Owner Jessica Arjet. "Kids gain confidence from jumping on stage, and parents get to see their children in such a positive light. Laughter brings people together, so what could be better than offering a way for families to laugh together?" You can see shows every Sunday at 2pm at The Hideout Theatre.
