Casting: Open Harold Jam at The Rubber Room

Post by scott.hearne »

Hey AIC!

I'm filling player slots for an open Harold Jam at The Rubber Room @ The Institution Theater. If you've ever wanted to get more Harold reps in front of an audience, here is your chance. The goal is to demystify Harold, prove you can have fun running Harold, and provide reps for improvisers. We had our first Harold Jam on Sunday, May 19th and it was a blast!

The next Harold Jam will be June 23rd, 8 PM at The Institution Theater. I'm filling slots Maestro style, so please list:

1. Your Name
2. Improv education and experience
3. Experience running the Harold

I'll cast 7 players and we will show up on June 23rd and rock it hard.

EDIT: I will post the cast list here on June 9th. Sign up before June 9th!!!

If you sign up, please show up at The Institution Theater on Sunday, June 23rd at 8 PM!

Thanks!

I am totally interested!

1. Maitland Lederer
2. ImprovBoston, Levels 1-5; ImprovBoston Harold Classes, Level 1; Hideout, Levels 1-6
3. Neutrino Boston (a video Harold format) 2006-2010; Roadkill Buffet (college troupe, Harold was our primary format for the last two years) 2001-2003

So, I'm rusty, but I'd jump at the opportunity to shake some of that rust off.
I'm Maitland Lederer, and I approve this message.

Well, not me, because I'll be working tech for that show. But, I can vouch for the general quality of TiT's Harold shows at The Rubber Room.

Ron Morelli

Did some stuff at the Hideout
Did some stuff at The New Movement
Did some stuff at Merlin Works
Did some stuff at Second City
Did some stuff at the Institution

I took the Harold class from Cody.
I also learned to do a more traditional Harold when I was at Second City. It was my undergrad class show format before we had to audition for conservatory!
